> THE PROBLEM
Drain Ranger had 20+ years of drainage experience and an old WordPress site that said none of it. It looked generic, didn’t work well on phones, wasn’t set up for Google, and blended in with every other drainage company in Auckland.
Drainage is an emergency-driven trade: when someone’s drains are blocked, they search, tap the first credible result, and call. A site that loads slowly, hides the phone number, or doesn’t rank simply doesn’t exist in that moment.
They needed to stand out visually, rank across Auckland suburbs, and convert visitors into calls, especially urgent ones.
> WHAT WE BUILT
We built a premium 17-page website on Next.js 16 with a bold dark-navy design that immediately separates them from the sea of template trade sites.
Eight dedicated service pages (CCTV inspections, unblocking, drain repairs, and more) each carry their own imagery, FAQ section, and structured data, so each service ranks on its own merits. An emergency banner and click-to-call buttons appear on every page, with up to 9 contact points per service page.
Advanced JSON-LD schema gets services and FAQs showing with rich detail in Google results, and GA4 plus Meta Pixel tracking shows exactly where enquiries come from.
