Wasted My Ult is a New Zealand web development company that builds for businesses across the Tasman. We hand-code websites, online stores and web apps in React, Next.js and Astro. 16 shipped projects, each with a public case study. Websites from $5,000 NZD with a fixed quote in 48 hours. No WordPress, no page builders, no monthly retainer, and you own the code.
New Zealand runs two to three hours ahead of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Your morning is our late morning; we are online for your whole working day. No overnight hand-offs, no waiting a day for a reply.
Australian clients pay the same fixed prices as New Zealand clients, quoted in New Zealand dollars. Exported services are generally zero-rated for NZ GST, so nothing is added on top of the quote.
React, Next.js and Astro in TypeScript. No theme licences, no plugin updates, no page-builder bloat. Every page prerendered so Google and AI assistants read the full content.
We have shipped live Xero and MYOB accounting integrations, Stripe with Afterpay, Verifone payments with 3D Secure, and a JobAdder ATS sync. All of them operate in Australia.
Hand-coded 5 to 25 page sites with Organization, Service and FAQ schema, a page per service and per location where it earns its place. From $5,000 NZD.
Small business website designCustom e-commerce with Stripe or Verifone payments, live shipping rates and accounting integrations. OPTC runs 2,677 products with MYOB stock and invoicing; Exudy runs on Stripe with Afterpay.

CRM for recruitment and HR firmsWe have not yet published an Australian client case study, so here is what we can show instead: 16 live projects with written case studies, one of them built for the Australian market. Every claim on this page links to the project it comes from.
WastedMyUlt.online is our own sister brand for NZ and Australian gamers. It shipped with hreflang for en-NZ and en-AU, per-page JSON-LD and a first paint under one second, in a single day. It is the closest thing we have to an Australian reference project, and we say so rather than pretend otherwise.
The full five-step process, including what happens after launch, is on the how we build page.
We do not have an office in any Australian city and we do not pretend to. What we can offer every one of them is the same: a hand-coded site, a fixed price, and a developer who is awake when you are.

Same language, overlapping working hours, and a quote in New Zealand dollars from a team that hand-codes rather than assembles templates. New Zealand is two to three hours ahead of the east coast, so a 9am Sydney start lands mid-morning for us and we have the whole day together. You get the same fixed-quote, 48-hour scoping process our NZ clients get, over video and email.
Our prices are the same for every client: custom websites from $5,000 NZD for a hand-coded 5 to 8 page site, multi-service or multi-location builds from $10,000 NZD, and web apps or SaaS quoted per scope. Quotes are issued in NZD; your bank converts at the rate on the day you pay. Services exported to a business outside New Zealand are generally zero-rated for NZ GST, so no NZ tax is added on top. Check the AUD equivalent and your own tax position with your accountant.
Not routinely. We are based in Auckland and deliver Australian projects remotely: a 20-minute call by video or phone, a written fixed quote within 48 hours, a live preview link from the first week, a short recorded update every Friday, and email or WhatsApp in between. Our New Zealand clients outside Auckland, including Flyinn in Wanaka, work with us the same way.
Yes. Every page is prerendered to static HTML and deployed to Cloudflare, Vercel or Netlify, all of which serve from edge locations inside Australia rather than from a single server in New Zealand. WastedMyUlt.online, our own OCE game-server brand aimed at NZ and Australian players, paints its first content in under a second on a 73KB gzipped bundle.
Yes. 9 of our published case studies are WordPress or WooCommerce migrations, including OPTC (2,677 products moved off WooCommerce with MYOB integration) and Exudy (105 products, Stripe with Afterpay). Every legacy URL gets a 301 redirect so existing rankings carry over.
Yes. Business Builds include a light headless CMS (Sanity or Payload): your team logs in, edits text, images, products or articles, presses publish, and the site rebuilds itself in minutes. Exudy's owner manages 105 products, orders and shipping rates this way with no developer involved. Design and layout changes are code, and we make those at a flat per-task rate.
You do. You own the code, the domain, the data and the analytics at launch. Sites deploy to Cloudflare, Vercel or Netlify with SSL; managed hosting is available from $50 NZD a month, or you can hold the hosting account yourself. Payments can run through Stripe or Verifone; accounting integrations we have shipped include Xero and MYOB, both of which serve Australian businesses.
Fixed quote inside 48 hours, in NZD. Most sites live in 2 to 4 weeks.
