A WordPress rebuild for a 5-star West Auckland collision shop: photo-based quotes that land in their assessing software, insurance claim guidance, and pages that rank for the questions drivers actually ask. Enquiries went from 1-2 a day to an average of 5-7.

Solis Panelbeaters is a collision repair shop in New Lynn with a 5.0-star Google rating across 300 reviews, MTA Assured and CRA licensed. Most of their work arrives through insurance claims, and here is the industry’s open secret: most drivers never realise they can usually nominate their own repairer instead of defaulting to whoever the insurer suggests.
Their old WordPress site couldn’t carry any of that. It was a generic template with thin content (some blog posts were literally still lorem ipsum placeholder text), and it said nothing useful about claims, ADAS calibration, or why a certified shop matters.
Quotes were the other bottleneck. Enquiries arrived with no photos, so every estimate started with the car physically in the yard, and nothing connected to the assessing software the shop actually runs jobs through. The old site was producing one or two enquiries a day.
We rebuilt the site on Next.js 16, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS 4 on Vercel: 40+ pages covering eight services (insurance repairs, ADAS calibration, rust repairs, chassis and wheel alignment, and more) plus dedicated conversion pages for claims assistance, glass claims, the approved insurer list, and choosing your own repairer.
The quote form is a four-step flow (vehicle, damage, insurance, details) that accepts up to six damage photos, auto-compresses them, and delivers the enquiry by email and straight into the shop’s iBodyshop online assessing workflow. A WhatsApp bubble and a sticky mobile call bar catch everyone else.
For search, we shipped AutoBodyShop schema carrying the 5.0-star rating, hours, and nine West Auckland suburbs, an OfferCatalog with real servicing prices, nine rewritten blog posts targeting the questions drivers type after a crash, and 15 redirects from the old WordPress URLs so existing rankings carried over.
Built around the claim moment. Three to four times the enquiries. When a crash happens, drivers search for answers before they pick a shop. The site answers those questions, explains the right to nominate a repairer, and turns that moment into a photo-backed enquiry. The shop went from 1-2 enquiries a day to an average of 5-7.
