> THE PROBLEM
NZ Property Real Estate is a licensed Auckland agency operating across residential sales, commercial leasing, and full-service property management. Off-the-shelf real estate templates and monolithic CMS plugins are notorious for sluggish page speeds, fragile database plugins, and cookie-cutter designs that fail to stand out against major franchise brands.
The agency needed a clean, bespoke platform that reflects their competitive commission model and local West Auckland expertise. Crucially, the site required residential sales, commercial listings, business sales, and rental management all unified under one roof, with instant mobile responsiveness and strong local search presence.
They also required an intuitive administrative backend for managing listings, team profiles across seven languages, appraisal requests, and lead notifications without ongoing developer bottlenecks.
> WHAT WE BUILT
We engineered a high-performance custom platform on Next.js 15 App Router, React 19, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, backed by Drizzle ORM on serverless Neon Postgres and deployed on Vercel with ISR.
The platform includes dedicated search and filter flows for residential sales, commercial leasing, and property management, complete with rich media handling via Vercel Blob storage, mobile-first sticky contact bars, and interactive appraisal booking.
A secure Auth.js v5 admin dashboard gives agents and staff direct control over properties, testimonials, and team bios. Automated enquiry routing via Resend instantly notifies agents of buyer and tenant interest, while Vercel Cron powers automated listing alert digests.
To win northwest Auckland organic traffic, we built dedicated suburb landing pages (Whenuapai, Hobsonville, Westgate, Massey, Henderson, Te Atatu) and comprehensive RealEstateAgent structured data schemas.
